Alteril is a sleep aid- sleeping pill which contains L-tryptophan, melatonin and valerian, along with additional ingredients. According to its proponenets, Alteril does not produce morning "hangovers," does not reduce morning alertness and physcial performance, and does not interrupt dream stages.
There seems to be alot of controversy regarding this product, at least as far as it's marketing, so I'd definately check that out. Sleep aids sold on slick infomercials with actors dressed like doctors?
